Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Mystica Mind is a personal fortune-telling website operated by capuron. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at askme@mysticamind.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect very little. Specifically:

• No account data. We do not ask you to register or create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal details unless you contact us directly.
• No server-side storage. This is a static website with no backend database. We do not store your birth date, birth city, zodiac sign, MBTI type, blood type, or any reading results on our servers — because we have no servers that store user data.
• Browser session storage. We use your browser's sessionStorage to remember your preferences (such as your selected zodiac sign, focus area, and tier status) within a single browsing session. This data is stored entirely on your own device and is automatically deleted when you close the browser tab. We cannot access it.
• Contact messages. If you email us at askme@mysticamind.com, we will receive and read your message. We use that information only to respond to you.

3. Third-Party Services

Mystica Mind loads resources from a small number of external services. We do not control their privacy practices.

• Google Fonts — used to load the Inter typeface. Google may log your IP address when the font is requested. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare CDN — used to load Three.js (the library that powers our animated star backgrounds). Cloudflare may log basic request metadata.
• Sacred-texts.com — tarot card images are loaded from this public archive. Your browser makes a direct request to their server when a card image is displayed.
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim — if you use the Big Three calculator and enter a birth city, a geocoding request (city name only, no personal identifiers) is sent to the OSM Nominatim API to look up geographic coordinates. No account or API key is required. See OSM's Privacy Policy.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics platforms, tracking pixels, or social media widgets.

4. Cookies

Mystica Mind does not set any cookies of its own. The third-party services listed above (Google Fonts, Cloudflare) may set cookies through their normal operation. You can disable or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.

5. How We Use Information

The only information processed by this site is data your browser keeps locally in sessionStorage to personalise your session (for example, remembering which zodiac sign you selected). This is processed entirely on your device. We do not transmit it, analyse it, or share it with anyone.

If you email us, we use your contact details solely to reply to your message. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your details with third parties.

6. Data Retention

Session data in sessionStorage is automatically deleted when you close the browser tab — this is how the browser works by design, not something we control. We retain no copies of it.

Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to resolve your query, after which they may be deleted at our discretion.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not store personal data on any server, there is typically nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on your behalf. If you have contacted us by email and would like us to delete that correspondence, please email askme@mysticamind.com and we will do so.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR or CCPA). We are a small personal project and will make reasonable efforts to honour such requests. We are not in a position to provide formal data subject access reports at this stage.

8. Children

Mystica Mind is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. We will not notify you of changes individually, so we encourage you to check back occasionally if this matters to you.
